Description
Formulated and manufactured at our facility in Atlanta, this is a specially formulated primer that is fast drying, acrylic resin based to be applied directly to concrete, asphalt and other substrates. Once the primer is applied and dry, thermoplastic solid heat applied traffic paints of any kind namely spray, extrude, hydrocarbon or alkyd hot applied thermoplastic paints can be applied over it. The primer forms a good strong deep penetrating base coat to help the top applied thermoplastic topcoat bond / adhere better to the substrate. It also forms a water barrier to protect and prolong the life of the solid thermoplastic traffic paint that is applied as a top coat. It does contain a mixture of hydrocarbon solvents that contribute to VOC but are LOW maximum of 150 gms / liter with ACETONE as a VOC exempt solvent. As an option, if needed USSC manufactures this product in full acetone solvent that is VOC exempt and hence contains ZERO VOC.
- Use as primer on side walks, pedestrian crossings, turn arrows and all hard to bond high traffic areas.

- Fast Dry. Dry to touch : 5 mins. To Recoat : 15 mins. max. No thinning needed.
- Excellent adhesion to concrete, asphalt and most road, parking garage surfaces and to top coated traffic paint.
- Forms a good moisture barrier to protect and help the top coated thermoplastic traffic paint last longer.
- Clean up before dry with lacquer thinner.
- Can be applied with brush, roller, spray equipment designed for solvent based coatings.
- Coverage 300 sq. feet / gallon or 600 linear feet of 4 inch wide line per gallon.
- Shelf life 1 year in unopened, well sealed containers.
