It is made with natural ingredients including zinc oxide, the same proven mineral filter used in human sunscreen. Description
UV Protection SUNscreen for GRASS is formulated, tested and manufactured at USSC’s facility in Atlanta, GA. This concentrated formulation is user friendly and will not harm plants, trees, shrubs or natural grass. It dries quickly to a durable, water resistant and nearly clear coating that helps protect healthy turf from heat, sun and UV exposure. SUNscreen for GRASS contains natural ingredients, including zinc oxide, that are proven and approved for preventing sunburn in humans. It is suitable for all grass varieties on commercial properties, outdoor gardens, open spaces, home lawns, athletic fields, golf courses and outdoor event areas.
This unique formulation is designed to be spray applied to natural grass to filter, absorb and reflect solar heat and harmful UV rays. The concentrate must be mixed with at least eight parts water before use. Once applied, it dries fast, becomes water resistant, will not fade and will not wash away with rain or irrigation. It is safe for humans, pets and the environment. SUNscreen for GRASS helps reduce sunburn, UV exposure and heat stress on turf. It supports grass recovery and promotes healthy, dense growth during periods of extreme sunlight or environmental stress.
As the turf begins to recover and grow, reapplication every two to three weeks can be done as needed. It is recommended for all grass types on athletic fields, golf courses, residential lawns, gardens, apartment complexes, commercial buildings, stores, malls and schools. USSC also produces a green turf dye and pigment that restores dormant or brown grass to a healthy, natural green appearance.
