Formulated and manufactured at our facility in Atlanta, a specialized adhesive / primer that is fast dry, acrylic resin based, with low V.O.C ( Volatile Organic Compounds ) with exempt solvents to be applied directly to concrete, asphalt and other substrates. Once this adhesive is applied and is tack free, the pavement marking tape can be applied directly over it. This adhesive bonds strongly with the tape and also forms a good strong deep penetrating base coat, to help the pavement marking tape to have a lot stronger bond, grip on to the substrate.
- Use as a bonding enhancer on side walks, pedestrian crossings, turn arrows, all high hard to bond high traffic areas for pavement marking tapes.
- Solvent based, very Low VOC, less than 100 gms / liter, with exempt solvents. Caution : Flammable
- Fast Dry. Dry to touch : 5 mins. To Recoat : 15 mins. max. No thinning needed.
- Excellent adhesion to concrete, asphalt. Use on road, street, highway, parking lots and garage surfaces.
- Forms a good moisture barrier to protect and help the pavement marking tape bond better to the substrate and hence last longer.
- Clean up before dry with lacquer thinner or acetone.
- Can be applied with brush, roller, spray equipment designed for solvent based coatings.
- Coverage 300 sq. feet / gallon or 600 linear feet of 4 inch wide line per gallon.
- Shelf life 1 year in unopened, well sealed containers.
